TickTalk was founded in August 2015 by a group of professional electronic engineers and designers. Founder Joey Choi has been designing and manufacturing consumer electronics for over 12 years. Choi was awarded the TOP 50 Best Inventions by Time Magazine in 2009 for his design of a foldable speaker.

TickTalk’s main headquarters is located in Fullerton, California and has their subsidiary offices that houses the hardware and R&D team along with the production control team in Shenzhen and Shanghai, China. In total, there are 15 technicians including software engineers, server experts, and hardware engineers. All team members have over 5 to 10 years of work experience.
